The media office of the Iraqi Ministry of Education announced the launch of the Educational Properties and Lands System through the Information and Communications Center, under the supervision of Director General of Educational Planning, Consultant Engineer Duraid Dhari Al-Hayali. The initiative is part of the ministry’s efforts to modernize institutional management and accelerate digital transformation.
According to the statement, the new platform serves as a comprehensive digital system for organizing and documenting property and land data, including cases of encroachment, allocation, ownership transfer, and leasing, in addition to building a precise and integrated database for all ministry-owned lands.
The ministry explained that the system will support future educational projects through data-driven planning and provide accurate information that enhances strategic planning and administrative decision-making.
The digital platform also connects the General Directorates of Education in Baghdad and other provinces with the Educational Planning Directorate, ensuring smooth data exchange, greater accuracy, and faster procedures while supporting decision-makers with reliable information aligned with modern governance and digital transformation standards.
