At a Cabinet meeting chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE announced a new government model based on agentic AI. This form of artificial intelligence can make decisions, execute tasks, analyze data, and provide recommendations independently, without human intervention.
According to the official statements, half of government sectors and services will be converted to AI systems within two years.
All government employees will receive specialized training in AI tools.
Government policies and procedures will be redesigned to support intelligent operations.
Ministers and directors will be evaluated on how quickly they adopt this transformation.
The government said its goal is to build the world's first government operating with AI on a large scale, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and raising the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.
