Official information indicates that the UAE is integrating AI across all layers of cybersecurity through new policies and legislation designed to protect sensitive systems from advanced attacks.

According to the National Cybersecurity Policy for Artificial Intelligence issued by the UAE Cybersecurity Council, the country's priorities include strong governance to ensure that AI systems are developed and operated securely.

They also include strengthening infrastructure and application security through vulnerability management and continuous system updates.

Another priority is protecting AI algorithms against manipulation and data theft.

Operational safety is to be supported through extensive testing and attack-resistant models.

At the Global Cybersecurity Forum in Dubai, UAE Cybersecurity Chief Mohamed Al Kuwaiti said AI had become the new oil of digital security. He outlined five main pillars for digital resilience: partnerships, governance, protection, innovation, and technology development.

The State of UAE Cybersecurity 2025 report also showed that attackers were using AI for advanced threats, including generative phishing, AI voice impersonation, self-evolving malware, and password-guessing attacks using machine-learning models.

These developments have prompted the UAE to increase cybersecurity budgets and develop AI-powered operations centers to detect attacks in real time.
